Tuition Waiver Policy

Eligible Senior Citizens may receive a tuition waiver for enrollment in undergraduate courses, whether the enrollment is for the purpose of auditing or credit.  The waiver applies only to tuition and the Senior Citizen will be responsible for all other fees associated with enrollment.  The Senior Citizen tuition waiver is only granted for courses in which space is available as determined by the Center for Lifelong Learning.  The Senior Citizen tuition waiver can not be applied to credits that are designated as on-line courses. 

A Senior Citizen is considered eligible for the tuition waiver if the individual is:

1. a legal resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
2. at least 62 years of age
3. receiving Social Security retirement benefits

Proof of eligibility is to be provided to the Student Accounts Office.
