Where are we located?
Mansfield University is located in North Central Pennsylvania, at the junction of routes 6 and 15.
We are a half hour south of Corning and Elmira, NY, two hours west of Scranton, PA, an hour north of Williamsport, PA, five hours from New York City and Philadelphia.

From the NORTH:
- Follow I-86 to Painted Post, NY (just west of Corning, NY).
- Take Rt. 15 South for 26 miles.
- As you approach Mansfield, take the Rte. 6 exit and turn left onto Rte. 6 East.
- Watch for our sign after you pass the traffic light in Mansfield.
- Our main entrance on Academy Street is just ahead on the right
From the EAST:
- Follow Route 6 West through Tunkhannock, Wysox, Wyalusing, Towanda, & Troy.
- From Troy, continue west through Sylvania & Mainesburg for approx. 16 miles.
- Entering Mansfield, the university is on the left.
- For our main entrance, watch for our sign & turn left onto Academy Street.
From the WEST:
- Follow Route 6 East through Coudersport, Galeton, Gaines, & Wellsboro.
- Mansfield is 12 miles east of Wellsboro on Rte. 6.
- Watch for our sign after you pass the traffic light in Mansfield.
- Our main entrance on Academy Street is just ahead on the right.
From the SOUTH:
- Follow Route 15 North through Williamsport.
- Continue on Rt. 15 for 50 miles.
- As you approach Mansfield, take the Rte. 6 exit and turn left onto Rte. 6 East.
- Watch for our sign after you pass the traffic light in Mansfield.
- Our main entrance on Academy Street is just ahead on the right.
